Position: Medical Director – Hematology/Oncology

Seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist to serve as Medical Director of well-established oncology program. This is a unique opportunity to lead the region’s most comprehensive cancer center, offering advanced care, research, and collaborative multidisciplinary services in one convenient location.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Serve as Medical Director for a highly respected cancer center in Southern New Mexico
• Join a team of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, oncology-certified nurses, oncology pharmacists, and support staff – all under one roof
• Focus solely on consultative services – admissions and discharges handled by hospitalists and PCPs
• Bi-weekly general tumor board and breast tumor conferences
• Participate in ongoing clinical research and trial programs
• Shared call responsibilities with a collegial group of physicians

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• Ability to obtain a New Mexico medical license
• Fellowship-trained in Hematology/Oncology
• Minimum of 2 years of post-training experience required
