Position: Gastroenterology Hospitalist
Location: Dayton, OH
Job Type: Full-time
A growing digestive health program in the Dayton region is seeking a Gastroenterology Hospitalist to join its clinical faculty team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-volume environment with a strong academic component, providing care to a diverse inpatient population while supporting future program expansion.
- Split clinical and academic focus with opportunities to teach and mentor trainees
- Active involvement in a large procedural service performing over 5,000 endoscopic procedures annually
- Work alongside GI fellows, APPs, and multidisciplinary specialists
- Contribute to program development in advanced endoscopy, digestive disease management, and GI service-line growth
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- Call rotation: 1 weeknight per week
- Weekends: 1 in 6

Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Eligible for Ohio medical licensure
- Strong interest in clinical teaching and program development
