Position: Inpatient Rehab Medical Director (Physiatrist)
Location: Muscle Shoals, AL
Job Type: Full-time
A regional medical center in northwest Alabama is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Physiatrist to serve as Medical Director for its inpatient rehabilitation unit. This role offers strong administrative support, an experienced clinical team, and the opportunity to shape and grow post-acute rehabilitation services in a vibrant and historic community.
• Lead a 32-bed acute rehabilitation unit with semi-private rooms
• Provide medical oversight and patient care in a collaborative, team-based environment
• Opportunities to perform EMGs for hospitals in the North Alabama region
• Post-residency inpatient rehab experience preferred
• Supported by a strong therapy, nursing, and administrative staff committed to quality care

Qualifications
• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• Eligible for Alabama medical license and DEA certification
