Position: Family Medicine Physician
Location: Rutherfordton, NC
Job Type: Full-time
A growing primary care practice in western North Carolina is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physician to join its team. This outpatient opportunity offers a predictable schedule, manageable patient volumes, shared call responsibilities, and the ability to practice in a scenic community near Lake Lure, Asheville, and Charlotte.
• Traditional outpatient family medicine practice with bread-and-butter primary care
• Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Average patient volume of 16-20 patients per day
• Shared after-hours call among regional primary care providers
• Athena One EMR and support from an established healthcare system with multiple specialty resources

Qualifications
• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Active or eligible North Carolina medical license and DEA certification
