Position: Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon
Location: Sylva, NC

An established regional hospital in the mountains of western North Carolina is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon to join a highly respected hospital-employed group. This is a unique opportunity to build a thriving sports medicine practice while collaborating with Western Carolina University’s athletic programs — all in a picturesque community less than one hour west of Asheville.
• Join a well-established orthopedic and sports medicine group of experienced physicians and APPs
• Full spectrum of sports medicine coverage, supported by physicians, physical and occupational therapists, and athletic trainers
• Opportunity to travel and work directly with Western Carolina University athletic teams
• Hospital-based clinic with on-site physical therapy and access to satellite locations in nearby communities

Qualifications
• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Sports Medicine fellowship
• Eligible for North Carolina medical license and DEA certification
• New graduates and experienced surgeons encouraged to apply
