Position: Infectious Disease Physician – Academic & Clinical Role
Location: Dayton, OH
Job Type: Full-time
A hospital-based physician group in the Dayton region is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Infectious Disease Specialist to join its academic and clinical team. This role blends inpatient consultative care with teaching responsibilities across multiple levels of medical training.
- Acute inpatient infectious disease consult service with some outpatient coverage
- Manage a large and diverse HIV and complex ID patient population
- Collaborative practice alongside advanced practice providers
- Participation in antibiotic stewardship initiatives
- Opportunity to lead educational activities including clinical precepting, resident and student teaching, case conferences, journal clubs, and lectures
- Support for scholarly work and program development in clinical infectious disease

Qualifications
- MD, DO, or MBBS
- Completed Internal Medicine residency
- Fellowship-trained or currently training in Infectious Disease
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status
- Eligible for Ohio medical licensure and DEA certification
