Position: General Surgeon
Location: Somerset, Kentucky
Job Type: Full-time
A regional medical center in southeastern Kentucky is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible General Surgeon to join an established surgical group. This opportunity offers advanced robotic technology, strong APP support, and a balanced surgical practice serving a growing regional population near the scenic Lake Cumberland area.
• Join a 5-provider surgical team including 3 surgeons and 2 experienced APPs
• Access to advanced robotic technology including 3 Da Vinci Xi robotic systems
• Ambulatory surgical practice located on the hospital campus
• Average clinic volume of 15–20 patients per day with dedicated OR and inpatient support
• 1:4 call schedule with APP coverage for inpatient rounding and locum support for work-life balance

Qualifications
• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
• Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency
• Eligible for Kentucky medical license and DEA certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
• New graduates may be considered depending on training and skillset
