Description
Position: Gastroenterologist
Location: Santa Barbara, CA
Job Type: Full-time
Practice Overview
- Predominantly outpatient practice with a balanced mix of endoscopy (60%) and office-based care (40%)
- Manageable patient load of 15–20 per day
- Call coverage: 1 week every 9 weeks at a single hospital
- Collaborative team environment with strong clinical and administrative support
- Endoscopy skillset includes: EGD, colonoscopy, esophageal manometry, Bravo, and capsule studies
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat digestive and gastrointestinal diseases
- Perform diagnostic procedures, including endoscopies and colonoscopies
- Document patient histories and develop individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and administer medications or treatments
- Collaborate with physicians, staff, and patients to ensure quality of care

Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- California medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Current DEA license
- Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
- ERCP experience a plus but not required
