Position: Cardiovascular Surgery PA-C
Location: Florence, AL
Job Type: Full-time
Seeking a Cardiovascular Surgery Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join established and respected cardiothoracic team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work in a cutting-edge facility alongside experienced surgeons in one of the region’s top-performing heart programs.
Position Highlights:
- Join a well-established surgical team with 4 surgeons and 2 PA-Cs
- Full-time position: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- OR-focused role with rounding between cases
- 1:3 call rotation with additional compensation for extra hours
- Experience in cardiovascular OR required
- Vein harvesting experience preferred (training available if needed)
- Practice in a modern facility with dedicated Open Heart and Vascular ORs, 4 Cath Labs, and a Hybrid Suite
Qualifications:
- Certified PA-C with experience in cardiovascular surgery
- Proficient or willing to train in vein harvesting
- Eligible for licensure in the state of Alabama
